Lord, you are my sanctuary,
I come to you for rest,
When life just gets too hectic
and I need a place of quietness.
When I come into your presence
and your peace flows over me,
I just close myself to all the rest
and fill myself with Thee.
I know that when I take the time
to find this quiet place,
All my stressfulness and worries
You tenderly erase.
It's in these quiet moments
that I spend here with You,
Your peace just washes over me
and my spirit is renewed.
